More Sobriety Checkpoints

|

The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced today that it will be conducting DWI/OVI Sobriety Checkpoints in Ashland, Ashtabula and Logan counties over the Labor Day weekend. The DWI checkpoint in Logan County will be on Thursday, August 29 from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. on State Route 366 (Main Street), in the village of Russells Point.

Law enforcement's goal is to lower accidents and fatalities from last year's 14 traffic related deaths during the Labor Day weekend. 5 of those deaths were alcohol related.
