    Attorney John F. Cannizzaro, founder of Cannizzaro, Bridges, Jillisky & Streng, LLC, began his law practice in 1980. Years later, the firm is the largest in Union County. Attorney Cannizzaro focuses in consumer bankruptcy law. Additionally, he lectures both locally and nationally on topics related to bankruptcy. He frequently lectures at the Southeastern Bankruptcy Law Institute (SBLI) in Atlanta, Georgia. The SBLI is the oldest recognized conference of Bankruptcy Law professionals in the U.S. In addition, Attorney Cannizzaro has lectured at the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees (NACTT) conferences in San Francisco, Dallas, Boston, and Orlando.

    Attorney Cannizzaro graduated from the University of Rochester in 1971 with a B.S. in Biology. From 1977 to 1980, he worked as a bailiff and a law clerk to the Honorable C. Howard Johnson of the Franklin County, Ohio Municipal Court. In 1980, Attorney Cannizzaro obtained his J.D. from the Capital University School of Law before beginning his own law practice the same year.
